Cajun inspired blackened salmon dinner is quick and easy to prepare and ranks

This recipe is quick to make and
very healthy. Here we supplement the blackened salmon with fresh broccoli
to make a rounded meal. Expect diners to compliment the chef on this one

(depending on number and size of salmon filets)
2-4 1/4 to 1/2 lb salmon filets with skin removed.

Mix the seasonings (
paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, thyme, basil, oregano and
Kosher salt) together in a small bowl. Spread this seasoning mixture on

medium high heat to shimmering and just starting to smoke in a large skillet
(seasoned cast iron is preferrable). Place the salmon filets in the hot
